King’s Cross serves Yorkshire, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Newcastle, Inverness, Doncaster as well as dozens of other domestic routes.
St Pancras International
St Pancras international provides Eurostar services connecting the UK to the continent by high speed rail (direct services to the centre of Paris, Brussels and Lille).

Both services run along Gray’s Inn Road and are also useful for travellers using Chancery Lane (Central Line) station.

Central London operates a Congestion Charge zone between 7.00 – 18.00 Monday to Friday, 12.00 noon – 18.00 Saturday to Sunday and bank holidays. No charge between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day bank holiday (inclusive), excluding public holidays.
Mecklenburgh Square has parking restrictions that begin at 8.30 and continue until 18.30. Much of the Square is reserved for residential parking only. There is an NCP car park located nearby in Brunswick Square.
Santander and Lime bikes and docking stations are widely available for hire. Check the Transport for London site for information on cycle routes. If you want to use your own bicycle please contact us in advance to check if a bike space can be arranged.
Heathrow
The Elizabeth Line to Farringdon, takes under 45 minutes with trains every 30 minutes (step free access). The Piccadilly Line to King’s Cross takes under an hour with tube trains every 10 minutes. The Heathrow express to Paddington Station takes 15 minutes (non-stop trains run every 15 minutes) from where you can transfer to the Hammersmith & City or Circle line to King’s Cross.
Gatwick
The Gatwick Express train line to Victoria takes 30 minutes with trains every 30 minutes (take the Victoria Line to King’s Cross). The Southern rail line also runs to Victoria (see Trainline for details) and Thameslink trains run to Farringdon.
London City Airport
The Docklands Light Railway to Bank takes 21 minutes with trains every 10 minutes. At Bank take a taxi or the Northern line to King’s Cross.
Stansted
The Stansted Express train line takes 50 minutes to London Liverpool Street station with trains every 15 minutes. From Liverpool Street take the Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan or Circle Line to King’s Cross, or take a taxi.
