We know some of our couples just want to have a party!

Think great music, drinks, dancing and a room full of the people who matter most. Our flexible spaces can be transformed to create the atmosphere you’re looking for, whether you’re planning a lively evening reception or a more relaxed party with plenty of time to catch up.

Our evening hire runs from 5pm–11pm, with the option to extend your licence until midnight if you want to keep the celebrations going a little longer.

So, if the ceremony has already happened and all that’s left is to celebrate, we’re ready to help you throw a party worth remembering.

Reception only

If you are saying your vows elsewhere, on another date or even in another part of the world, you can still bring everyone together at Goodenough House for a memorable celebration.

Our rooms are available for evening hire from 5pm–11pm, giving you the perfect setting to gather your favourite people, raise a glass and celebrate your marriage your way.

Perhaps you’re planning an intimate dinner rather than a dance floor, or simply want an elegant evening centred around great food and even better company. Our rooms provide a beautiful setting for private dining and relaxed celebrations. A dedicated cloakroom will also be available for your guests.

Whether it’s a post-wedding celebration, an anniversary gathering or simply an excuse to get everyone together, we’ll help you create an evening that feels uniquely yours.

The Great Hall

£4600 +VAT

(Early access from £375+VAT per hour)

Our Great Hall can accommodate up to 250 for a standing reception or 220 for a seated dinner.

Large Common Room

£2700 +VAT

(Early access from £175+VAT per hour)

Our Large Common Room can accommodate up to 150 for a standing reception or 70 for a seated dinner.

Churchill Room

£1900 +VAT

(Early access from £175+VAT per hour)

Our Churchill Room can accommodate up to 70 for a standing reception or 30 for a seated dinner.

Want to party a little later? We are able to apply for a limited number of late licences each year, giving you the option to extend with us until midnight.
