If you need to find accommodation for your event staff and guests we can provide you with a range of options to suit both your event and your budget – all our rooms are located just a few steps away from our event spaces.
Stay in a 4-star boutique hotel with 65 newly refurbished en suite bedrooms on Mecklenburgh Square.
Situated on the east side of the Square, The Goodenough Hotel London is only a few minutes walk from both London House and William Goodenough House – perfect for guests requiring an overnight stay or for residential retreats that require an extra layer of luxury.
Originally designed as a suite of townhouses by Joseph Kay in the early 19th century, the buildings now occupied by The Goodenough Hotel were used as a nursing home during the Second World War, before being transformed into a hotel in 2001. The Goodenough Hotel has recently gone through a huge refurbishment, with each of the bedrooms being individually designed to pay homage to the buildings’ Georgian heritage. The Hotel provides a range of single and double rooms. It also has four suites, with separate living rooms and views of Mecklenburgh Square Garden, that are perfect for special guests or occasions.

We have a range of short-stay accommodation options, including single rooms with shared or en suite bathrooms and flats ranging from 1-3 bedrooms.
Short-stay accommodation in Goodenough College’s student rooms (in London House and William Goodenough House) is sometimes available.
Availability and rates vary considerably according to the time of year, with maximum room availability in the summer months. These rooms are a great option for clients organising a summer retreat within our event spaces.
Please note these rooms are not suitable for summer schools with students under the age of 18, as the room allocations will be dispersed amongst our member community depending on availability. Goodenough House and the Goodenough Hotel London are independent, highly professional businesses set up by Goodenough College to raise funds for its charitable objectives.
Any income from College’s venue hire business and the Hotel, goes towards serving Goodenough College’s charitable objectives – so when you hire a venue through Goodenough House, or stay in The Goodenough Hotel or the College itself, you are supporting the College’s work to enhance international understanding and to support UK and overseas students with limited means.
